Here’s a list of our most frequently asked questions:

  1. Can we meet with regards to music requirements prior to our event?

Yes, we meet with all our clients beforehand to discuss their music needs and to give them a chance to ask any further questions they may have.

  2. What type of music do you play?

We strive to always play the music you want to hear. This is the main reason why we always meet our clients before an event. Typically we are commercial DJ’s playing modern commercial (radio) music with a good mix of the older hits (e.g. Summer of 69, It’s My Life) and some sokkie/langarm songs. That said, the type of music we play totally rests upon what you would like us to play.

  3. Can you supply sound for our reception as well as our ceremony & pre-drinks?

Yes, we can supply sound for your ceremony. This includes a half an hour of background music prior to the ceremony commencing, the wedding march and a recessional song for the Bride and Groom’s exit. After this the guests will move to the pre-drinks area where we will also have sound already setup and ready.

  4. When must we pay in our deposit?

Your deposit is payable as soon as you want to secure your booking. Without a deposit we cannot secure a date since we have a large influx of inquiries and therefore work on a first come first serve basis for bookings.

  5. Do you have a cordless microphone for speeches?

Yes, we do provide professional Shure cordless microphones with a range of about 75m.

  6. Do you charge extra to travel further?

Our packages include a basic travel fee which covers a 50km radius from the CBD up to Melkbosstrand, Wellington, Paarl, Franschhoek, Somerset West. Any further travel will be charged separately and accommodation may be required.

  7. Will your equipment be sufficient for our venue?

Yes, we always ensure that we provide the correct amount of sound and lighting for the venue and amount of guests you are expecting.

  8. What if we go over the hours stipulated on our quote?

Our quoted price is always up until midnight. Thereafter we charge R1500 per hour or part thereof.

  9. How does your lighting compare to that of other DJ’s?

Lighting is an extremely important factor contributing to the atmosphere of an event and setting the mood for your guests to dance. This is where many DJ’s cut on costs, they do not buy lighting or only use very little, low quality lighting resulting in an boring and not very appealing dance floor. We have various intelligent lighting fixtures all setup to work together to give you a professional and mind blowing atmosphere at your wedding. We are one of very few Cape Town mobile DJ services providing this type of service at such a low cost to you!
